Founding membership
This is not a waiting room. From the moment you join as a founding member, La Mesa is working for you – and with you. Here's what that looks like.
Founding price – locked in indefinitely
Price increases after August 2026 for new sign ups
01
Facilitated conversations where the La Mesa collective come together around what's real – career strategy, visibility, identity, resilience, and navigating what's next. Not a webinar. Not a lecture. A table.
Led by coaches and experts who understand where you are. The kind of conversation that changes things.
What to expect
Real talk, not a lecture
Every session is a conversation — not a presentation. You bring what's real, and we work through it together.
Led by coaches who get it
Our coaches understand this season — career transition, identity, visibility, what's next. No generic advice. No hustle culture.
Strategy you can actually use
Every session ends with something concrete — a reframe, a next step, a decision made. You leave different than you arrived.

"Someone who checks in. Someone who shows up. Someone who gets it."
02
Every founding member gets placed in a small group of Your Amigas – women in the collective who understand this season and show up for each other.
Not a mentor. Not a coach. Peers who show up for you – and you for them. That's how the collective works.
03
Your expertise didn't disappear. The market just isn't moving fast enough. La Mesa connects founding members with short-term contract work at social impact organizations — real work, real pay, on your terms.
These aren't volunteer opportunities. Organizations come to La Mesa because they need skilled, experienced women — and they pay for that access.
More income. More confidence. More network. La Mesa gets you there.
How it works
A social impact org posts a project
They have an urgent need — strategy, communications, operations, research. They come to La Mesa for trusted, skilled talent.
La Mesa matches the right woman
We connect based on expertise, availability, and fit. Both sides are vetted. The trust is already built.
She does the work. Gets paid.
Real income. Fresh portfolio work. A new entry in her network. The gap starts to close.
She moves forward
More income, more confidence, more network. That's how La Mesa works.
Launching in the first phase of La Mesa.

Co-Working
Writing cover letters. Browsing job descriptions. Working on your resume. Updating your LinkedIn. The unglamorous, necessary work of finding what's next.
You don't need to do that alone.
La Mesa co-working sessions are 1 hour, twice a week – Weeks go by. The rejection emails start coming. Or worse — nothing comes at all. And what started as possibility starts to quietly drain you. It's isolating in a way that's hard to explain to people who aren't in it.
Every session opens with 10 minutes of real talk — what's working, what's not, what someone tried this week. Then everyone opens their laptops and gets to work. Come and go as you please. Twice a week.
Sometimes just knowing someone else is there makes all the difference.
What a session looks like
Twice a week. Virtual — wherever you are.
03
Sometimes it feels like you're in a pit. The rejection just landed. The silence is deafening. The savings are disappearing. And you don't need advice – you need a place to feel it. And if you're not the only one in the pit, all of a sudden the pit is a party.
That's what a Party In The Pit is.
No fixing. No silver linings. Just the table – and every woman at it is seen and heard.
And then we get back up. Together.
🪩

You were somewhere important."

Job searching is relentless. Some days the silence is deafening. Some days the rejection lands hard. Some days you just need someone to remind you who you actually are.
Every day, La Mesa sends a founding member an affirmation. Not generic. Not girlboss. Real words for the real experience of being in transition.
We call them Unhinged Kindness.

The Woman Stewarding La Mesa
"So many women navigate this season alone – defeated, invisible, doubting everything they know to be true about themselves. La Mesa is here to change that narrative.
"Imagine looking back and thinking: That season was hard. But I felt supported. I laughed and I cried. And I helped other women feel the same way."
La Mesa · A Living Book
A collection of transitions — not always the clean, clearly defined kind. Written by women in reinvention, for women in reinvention. Not finished. Not polished. Just true.
Every woman has a story worth telling. Every story tells a version of herself. And every version deserves a seat at the table.

"Resilience is the floor. Not the ceiling."
The ceiling is joy. Connection. Being witnessed. Having space held for you.
— Lori Muñoz, Founder · La Mesa
