These policies apply to all members and visitors of La Mesa (joinlamesa.co), operated by Lori Muñoz under RAM House Co. Lab. Written to comply with GDPR (EU/Spain), CASL (Canada), PIPEDA (Canada), CAN-SPAM (USA), and CCPA (California, USA). Questions? Email collective@joinlamesa.co.

Privacy Policy

1. What data we collect

When you sign up for La Mesa or apply for the We've Got You Fund, we collect: your name, email address, city, country, phone number (WhatsApp), and the information you share in your profile form. We also collect the promo code you use at signup, if any.

Payment information is handled directly by Stripe and is never stored by La Mesa. We do not see or store your card details.

5. Data storage & security

Your data is stored securely via Netlify Forms and Google Workspace. Payment data is handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant. We take reasonable steps to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your membership is active, and for up to 12 months after cancellation for legitimate business purposes. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

7. Cookies

La Mesa does not currently use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We may introduce these in future with appropriate notice.

8. Children

La Mesa is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Terms of Service

1. What La Mesa is

La Mesa is a membership community for women navigating career transition. It is a brand under RAM House Co. Lab, operated by Lori Muñoz, By joining, you understand that La Mesa is actively building and that features and offerings will expand over time.

2. Membership & payment

La Mesa membership is available at three self-selected tiers: Full Membership at $46/month, Community Supported at $23/month, and We Got You (fully supported, no cost). All tiers include full access to La Mesa. Members self-select the tier that reflects their current season — no application or explanation required. The $46/month founding price is locked in for as long as you remain a member. Prices increase after August 2026 for new sign-ups. All paid memberships are billed monthly via Stripe and can be cancelled at any time.

La Mesa Meets group coaching sessions are available to non-members at $15 per session, paid via Stripe at the time of registration. Drop-in session purchases are non-refundable. Members have access to all La Mesa Meets sessions as part of their membership at no additional cost.

3. The We've Got You Fund

The We've Got You Fund is supported by donors and members who want to pay it forward. It covers the cost of a fully supported (We Got You) membership for women in a financially hard season. There is no application process — members self-select this tier on trust. La Mesa reserves the right to review membership in cases of misuse.

4. The AMIGA offer

The AMIGA offer ($80/month for two founding members joining together – $40/month each) is offered in good faith. La Mesa reserves the right to withdraw or modify this offer at any time. Misuse of the offer may result in membership cancellation without refund.

Either member in an AMIGA pair may cancel at any time by emailing collective@joinlamesa.co. If one member cancels, the remaining member may continue at the solo founding rate of $46/month for as long as her membership remains active. La Mesa will adjust billing accordingly. The founding rate is retained by any member who maintains continuous active membership.

5. Community standards

La Mesa is a community built on trust, respect, and collective support. Members are expected to treat one another with dignity. La Mesa reserves the right to remove any member whose behaviour is harmful, disrespectful, or inconsistent with the values of the collective – without refund.

La Mesa is for women and non-binary individuals navigating career transition.

6. Contracts & opportunities

La Mesa facilitates connections between members and social impact organizations but is not a party to any employment or contract arrangement. La Mesa makes no guarantee of work, income, or specific outcomes from membership.

7. Limitation of liability

La Mesa is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, La Mesa, RAM House Co. Lab, and Lori Muñoz are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or membership.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as La Mesa grows. We will notify members of material changes by email with at least 14 days notice. Continued membership after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. For members in Canada and the United States, applicable local consumer protection laws also apply.
